Rodon hit Calhoun with a pitch on the outfielder’s elbow. Calhoun said he felt a tingling sensation but was OK and will hit leadoff against the Red Sox.“I thought he looked really good,” manager Aaron Boone said about Rodon. “Probably stuff-wise, as good as I’ve seen even going back to spring.”The manager said Rodon’s fastball hovered around 93-96 MPH, which is a tad faster than his high-intensity bullpen session during the team’s West Coast trip.
