Police arrest 31-year-old man connected to hit-and-run in Miramar that left victim in critical condition Police on Thursday arrested a man connected to a hit-and-run in Miramar. Tremaine Maurice Herbert, 31, is facing several charges, which include leaving the scene of a crash involving serious bodily injury, tampering with evidence and driving with a suspended license.He appeared in bond court Friday morning where a judge gave him a $36,000 bond and is not allowed to drive nor make contact with the victim. Herbert has since paid his bond and is expected to be released from jail Friday afternoon. According to Miramar Police, the incident happened on March 4 when Jahmaar Williams, 31, was crossing Pembroke Road, near the 6500 block and was struck by a vehicle. He was transported to the hospital in critical condition. During their investigation, police were able to track down the BMV that hit Williams, which ultimately led them to Herbert. 2 charged with second-degree murder in quadruple Cabbagetown shooting Toronto police have charged two Brampton men with second-degree murder in connection to a fatal shooting in Cabbagetown in September that also injured three other people.Police responded to the area of Dundas Street East and Sherbourne Street around 2:45 a.m. on Sept. 16 for the sounds of gunshots.Police say the suspects approached a group of people and started shooting at them.Two people in the group were taken to hospital in life-threatening condition, while two others were listed in critical condition.One of the victims has since died in hospital.
