HOBART, Ind. — Divers have recovered the body of a person who was last seen going under the water Sunday afternoon in Hobart.In a video posted to social media, Assistant Chief John Robinson said divers said they recovered the body around 2:49 p.m. Chicago boy, 7, dies after drowning in Lake Michigan The Hobart Police Department said a female was seen going under the water and witnesses haven't been able to find her.Robinson said several agencies responded to the scene to assist them. PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- Two people are dead after shots rang out near the Gorge Amphitheater in George, Washington while an electronic dance music festival was in progress, the Grant County Sheriff's Office has confirmed.Three people were also wounded in the shooting at a nearby campground, not the concert venue, Grant County Sheriff's Office spokesperson Kyle Forman said during a Saturday night press conference. One of those wounded was the suspected shooter, he said.Forman said the suspected shooter opened fire at the campground shortly before 8:30 p.m. before walking away toward the crowd of festival-goers "several hundred yards away." When deputies arrived, the suspect continued to “fire randomly into the crowd” before being apprehended. The suspect was shot in the confrontation with police, Foreman said. PARMA HEIGHTS, Ohio (WJW) – The Parma Heights Police Department is investigating the death of a 68-year-old woman who was run over by an ambulance.According to a press release from police, officers and paramedics responded to an apartment in the Cleveland suburb Saturday at around 9 p.m.Police say a neighbor called to request someone check on the 68-year-old woman.Though authorities spoke to the woman, police say she refused treatment. Greg Abbott this month comes enhanced legal protections for trap-neuter-return programs, or tactics for treating unhoused cats statewide.Previously, people who participated in TNR programs in areas without legal protections could be held liable for the misdemeanor offense of animal abandonment. A fatal crash forced authorities to close all but one lane of East Dry Creek Road in Centennial Sunday afternoon, according to the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office.The crash happened at about 1:30 p.m. on East Dry Creek Road between South Yosemite Street and South Alton Way. A driver lost control of a vehicle and hit a parking garage, according to the sheriff’s office. The vehicle then burst into flames.The driver died, and a passenger who was in the vehicle was taken to a hospital. Sheriff’s office spokeswoman Ginger Delgado did not know the survivor’s condition Sunday. She also could not say whether investigators suspect the driver was intoxicated or speeding before the crash.Authorities closed all eastbound lanes of East Dry Creek Road and all but one lane of the westbound road between South Yosemite Street and South Alton Way. (KRON) -- Community members in San Rafael have been seeing a very busy black bear nearby this week. A new video obtained by KRON4 is shedding light on the bear's journey through the area on Tuesday. Dolores Heights corner stores has two break-ins in two days A young black bear was caught on home-surveillance video in the Terra Linda area of San Rafael on Tuesday morning. The bear was seen making its way across the front yard of a home in the area, and around the side of the house to the garbage cans. After hearing about the bear, Loree Ades thought it might be a good idea to check her cameras just in case, since she lives a few miles away in the Lucas Valley area of San Rafael. She was stunned to see that what appeared to be the same bear wandering through her backyard around midnight on Tuesday.
