Authorities are investigating a shooting in Brockton on Friday that left a 15-year-old dead, officials said.Officers responded to a reported shooting in the area of 131 Lynn Road around 3:20 p.m., according to Plymouth District Attorney Tim Cruz. A Scituate man is in custody in connection with an armed carjacking after police say he led officers on a chase before crashing in Kingston.Troopers responding to a report from Boston police that a black BMX X5 SUV was wanted in connection with an armed carjacking around 8:30 a.m. Saturday learned that a vehicle was being driven erratically on Route 3 southbound, according to state police.When troopers tried to stop the vehicle in Duxbury near the North Street overpass, they say the driver refused and fled at a high rate of speed before crashing into a stone wall near the intersection of Main Street and Landing Road in Kingston. Trevor Baylef, 34, was taken into custody and transported to Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth to be evaluated for injuries he sustained in the crash.A knife was found in the vehicle in plain sight, police said.No additional information was immediately available. Police in Portsmouth, New Hampshire are turning to the public for help as they search for a bank robber who stole from the Bank of America on Islington Street.Officers responding to a reported armed robbery at the bank around 10:15 a.m. learned the suspect did not display a weapon but said he had one. Peel Regional Police’s Special Victims Unit have charged a man for impersonating as a police officer to commit a sexual assault in Brampton.On Sept. 21, at approximately 4:45 p.m., a 13-year-old female was walking through a plaza in the area of Bovaird Drive and Mountainash Road in Brampton.The suspect allegedly falsely identified himself as a police officer and then sexually assaulted the female victim.Anushan Jeyakumar, a 33-year-old man from Brampton, was arrested and charged with impersonating a peace officer, forcible confinement, sexual assault and sexual interference.He was held pending a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.Investigators with Peel police believe there may be additional victims.Menendez gains a primary opponent as calls for his resignation grow after indictment
