BERLIN (AP) — Five matches for a “salad bowl.”The Bundesliga title race looks set to go to the final day of the season with only one point separating league leader Borussia Dortmund and 10-time defending champion Bayern Munich. The winner will receive the “Meisterschale” (champion’s bowl), which is commonly referred to as the “salad bowl” because of its appearance. In recent years, Bayern has usually had the bowl in the bag by now. With the exception of 2019, the title race hasn’t been this close at this stage since 2010, when Louis van Gaal’s Bayern team had just taken a one-point lead over Schalke with a 2-1 win over the then-league leaders in Gelsenkirchen. This time, the Bavarian powerhouse is in the unaccustomed role of being a point behind.Bayern enjoyed a 4-2 win over Dortmund in Munich on April 1 but has been misfiring since. It was one of only two wins Bayern has managed in seven games in all competitions since Thomas Tuchel was appointed coach. The decision to fire his predece...Prince William County property taxes to stay flat in new budget

Due to rising assessments, the average homeowner’s tax bill will be the same.At the same time, the board agreed to increase the so-called “data center tax” on business computer equipment and peripherals — a tax paid by all businesses but disproportionately by data centers — to $2.15 per $100, well above the $1.80 rate called for in an increase schedule approved by the board in 2021.The new fiscal year begins July 1.B...STMicroelectronics: Q1 Earnings Snapshot

(CNN) — Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis will deliver remarks in Jerusalem on Thursday, addressing officials and journalists there at a time of heightened tension between Israel and the United States and amid a rise in antisemitism within his home state.DeSantis is scheduled to speak at an event, “Celebrate the Faces of Israel,” hosted by the Jerusalem Post and the Museum of Tolerance Jerusalem. The speech comes during the third stop on DeSantis’ worldwide tour that has already landed him in Japan and South Korea and will end with a visit to the United Kingdom. The event will thrust DeSantis, a likely presidential contender, into Israel’s national tumult, marked by sectarian violence and domestic uprisings over Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s efforts to overhaul the nation’s judiciary. Those plans, temporarily on hold, led to rising tension between President Joe Biden and Netanyahu.DeSantis has not addressed Netanyahu’s proposal, b...Students at Milford school back in class after pepper spray incident sends several to hospital

Students at Stacy Middle School in Milford are back in class Thursday after a student set off pepper spray Wednesday afternoon, sending several people to the hospital.Officials said the incident happened around 2 p.m. Though officials said they don’t believe anyone was hit directly in the face, 10 students and one staff member were taken to the hospital by ambulance after this incident.Between 30 and 40 people also had to be assessed by paramedics at a triage area set up outside another nearby school. “Unfortunately, students make bad choices sometimes,” Schools Superintendent Kevin McIntyre said. “This was a very bad choice.”Officials said the student in this incident set off the pepper spray from a second floor area in the school’s front lobby. The pepper spray prompted an evacuation, with SKY7-HD cameras later capturing video of students and staff gathered outside. McIntyre said officials did not initially know what the substance was.
