OAKBROOK TERRACE, Ill. — Oakbrook Terrace has lost another battle in its fight to keep operating a controversial red light camera. A DuPage County judge in May ruled that the red light cameras near Oak Brook Mall at the intersection of Route 83 and 22 Street must be removed, upholding an order by the Illinois Department of Transportation to deactivate the camera. Austin (KXAN) — The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department urges those hitting local lakes this July 4th holiday to prevent the spread of invasive Zebra Mussels and aquatic plants.According to TWPD, the invasive Zebra Mussel's first infestation in Texas was found in Lake Texoma in 2009 but are now in dozens of Texas lakes. The species is known to adhere itself to bottoms of boats and motors which makes them easy to accidentally transport. AUSTIN (KXAN) — Cracked road on a portion of the US-183 frontage road was temporarily patched Friday ahead of the 4th of July weekend, a Central Texas Regional Mobility Authority (CTRMA) spokesperson told KXAN.The cracked road was reported on the US-183 Toll at 5315 Ed Bluestein Blvd, CTRMA said. Traffic Alert: Portion of US-183 frontage road closed for roadway repairs More specifically, CTRMA said the cracked road was in front of the YMCA, and it was temporarily patched and open to traffic Friday. There was no timeline for a permanent fix, nor does the company know what caused the issue.Furthermore, CTRMA said the southbound side of US-183 is still in the process of being repaired but is currently open to traffic. ST. LOUIS -- Portions of the city of St. Louis are under a precautionary boil advisory. A power outage caused an issue at the Chain of Rocks Water Treatment Plant that resulted in low water pressure. Police are searching for two possibly armed suspects following a pursuit that ended near the Little Tokyo district in Los Angeles Saturday night.The pursuit began around 5:30 p.m. and led L.A. By Saturday night, two major retailers will have permanently closed their doors.Old Navy on 801 Market St. closed its doors for good by the end of the night on July 1. Nordstrom Rack on 901 Market St. was open for its final day on Friday, June 30.
